Dog Daycare

Tara and Dave started Playday Pups with a passion for creating a loving and safe environment for all kinds of dogs. From the beginning, they welcomed pups who love to play and socialize with others, as well as those with special needs, senior dogs, and even energetic puppies. Their goal has always been to provide a tailored experience for each dog, ensuring every pup gets the care, attention, and playtime they need. Whether it’s a high-energy dog ready for fun or a senior dog needing a little extra TLC, Tara and Dave are dedicated to making sure every dog feels at home.

Why Choose Playday Pups

Dog Daycare?

Safety, Structure, and Supervision

We offer a structured daily routine that balances playtime and rest, with scheduled breaks around 11:00 AM, a nap from 1:00–3:00 PM, and an afternoon wind-down at 4:30 PM. Dogs are matched by temperament and activity level to ensure a positive experience for all. With smaller group sizes and a staff-to-dog ratio of 1:5, we provide individualized attention and are happy to care for dogs with special needs, including administering medications like injectables. Open 7 days a week with flexible hours, Playday Pups is designed to fit your schedule while keeping your dog happy and safe.

Fun, Safe, and Social: Playday Pups Dog Daycare

Playday Pups Vaccine Requirements
Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella

We prioritize the health and safety of all our furry guests. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, we require all dogs to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Specifically, we mandate proof of vaccination for Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), and Bordetella (commonly known as the kennel cough vaccine). These vaccinations help protect not only your dog but also their playmates from preventable illnesses. Please provide current vaccination records prior to your dog's first visit to help us maintain a healthy and happy pack!

Behaviours That May Disqualify Dogs from Daycare
While we do our best to accommodate many dogs, we maintain a safe and balanced environment for everyone. Dogs displaying the following behaviours may not be accepted:
  • Aggression toward other dogs or humans

  • Excessive mounting or humping that disrupts the group

  • Excessive barking that causes stress or tension

  • Repeated or intense escape attempts (fence jumping, digging, etc.)

  • We do not accept unneutered males over 8 months of age. However, we assess dogs on a case-by-case basis — if you believe your pup is the exception, please reach out.
